Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 26 July 2026

These terms apply whenever you use ContractHelp. We have kept them as short and as plain as we can. By paying for a review or submitting a contract, you agree to them.

1. Who we are

ContractHelp (contracthelp.org) is a contract review service. The technical platform is designed and operated by JAMBA Inc., a company incorporated in Canada ("we", "us", "our") with the registered address of 300-420 West Hastings St, Vancouver, BC, V6B1L1, Canada.

2. What the service is

For a one-off fee, we review one contract that you upload and email you a plain-English report on its risks, one-sided terms, and gaps, written from the perspective of the party you tell us you represent. You may optionally ask one focus question, which we answer as part of the report.

3. What the service is not — no legal advice

Our reports are informational analysis only. They are not legal advice, and using ContractHelp does not create a solicitor-client (or any other professional-client) relationship. Our reports are not a substitute for retained legal counsel, and we do not negotiate, draft, or amend contracts, or represent you in any dispute. For advice on your specific situation, consult a qualified lawyer.

4. Who can use ContractHelp

The service is only intended for businesses located in the United Kingdom. The service is limited to commercial contracts expressly governed by the law of England and Wales. We do not assess contracts governed by Scots law, Northern Irish law or any other legal system. By submitting payment and uploading a contract, you confirm that this applies to you.

5. Your responsibilities

When you submit a contract, you confirm that:

  • you have the right to share the document with us;
  • the party you tell us you represent, and any other information you give us, is accurate;
  • the document is legible and complete enough to be reviewed;
  • the email address you provide is correct — the report is delivered there;
  • you are not using the service for any unlawful purpose.

6. Payment, cancellation, and refunds

The price is shown at checkout and is a one-off payment per contract. Payments are processed securely by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.

By submitting your contract after payment, you ask us to start work immediately. You can request a full refund at refund@contracthelp.org at any time before we begin the review. You must use the same email address that was used to make the purchase via Stripe and include the Stripe transaction number.

Once your report has been delivered, the service has been fully performed and the fee is non-refundable. If we are unable to review your document for any reason, we will refund you in full.

7. Delivery

Reports are delivered by email, typically in as little as 3 hours, or the next business day for submissions made late in the day or made on a non-business day. These are targets, not guarantees; if we anticipate a significant delay, we will let you know by email.

8. Confidentiality

We treat every contract you upload as confidential. It is used only to prepare your report and is seen only by the members of our team working on it. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle personal data.

9. Intellectual property

You keep all rights in the documents you upload. We give you a licence to use your report for your own personal or internal business purposes; you may not resell it or publish it as your own work. Everything else — the platform, the website, and our methods — belongs to us.

10. Our liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under law.

Subject to that:

  • our total liability to you in connection with a review is limited to the amount you paid for it;
  • we are not liable for decisions you make (including signing, not signing, or negotiating a contract) in reliance on a report;
  • we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profit, loss of business, or loss of opportunity.

Your report reflects a professional review of the document you provide, but no review can identify every possible issue, and we make no guarantee that a report is exhaustive.

11. Our right to decline a submission

We may decline any submission — for example, if the document is not a contract, is illegible, is outside what we can competently review, or appears connected to unlawful activity. If we decline a submission you have paid for, we will refund you in full.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page when you submit a contract is the one that applies to that review.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales.
