Contract review for UK businesses
One bad clause can cost you thousands. Know what you're signing.
Upload any contract and our team will send you a plain-English risk report — the traps, the one-sided terms, and the gaps — in as little as 3 hours. One fixed fee of £99. No retainer, no hourly billing, no waiting weeks for a solicitor.
- One-off payment — no subscription
- Reviewed by our team of legal experts, including lawyers & paralegals
- Delivered by email in hours, not weeks
You've been handed a contract. Now what?
Signing without reading it properly is a gamble with your business, your future revenue, your intellectual property, or even your brand reputation. Sending it to a solicitor means hundreds of pounds an hour and days of waiting — for a document the other side expects back this week. So most people skim it, hope for the best, and sign. That's exactly what the other side's lawyers are counting on.
Unlimited liability
A single sentence can put everything you own on the line for losses far beyond the value of the deal itself.
One-sided termination
They can walk away whenever they like — while you are locked in, sometimes for years, with penalties for leaving.
Losing your own work
Broad IP clauses can quietly hand over ownership of your work, your tools, and even things you created before the deal.
Auto-renewal lock-ins
Miss a narrow cancellation window buried in the small print and you are automatically committed to another full term.
Payment terms that starve you
90-day payment terms, vague acceptance criteria, and set-off rights can turn a good contract into a cash-flow crisis.
What is not in there
Missing caps, missing exit rights, missing protections. The gaps in a contract often hurt more than the clauses you can see.
Your options, honestly compared
Until now, contract review meant choosing between risky and expensive.

Common questions
How fast will I get my report?
In as little as 3 hours. If you submit late in the day, you will receive it the next business day. Either way, it arrives by email — no chasing, no appointments.
What kinds of contracts can you review?
Any contract you have been asked to sign or are about to send: client and supplier agreements, service contracts, NDAs, employment contracts, partnership agreements, leases, and more. Upload a PDF, DOC, DOCX, or TXT file up to 10MB.
The service is limited to commercial contracts expressly governed by the law of England and Wales. We do not assess contracts governed by Scots law, Northern Irish law or any other legal system.
Who actually reviews my contract?
Our team of legal experts — including lawyers and paralegals based in the United Kingdom — review contracts like yours every day. Your report reflects their assessment of the contract from your side of the deal.
Why don't you publish the names of the reviewers?
Our legal team is made up of professionals that we contract based in the UK who have completed their legal studies there. The group includes early-career lawyers as well as reviewers with many years of industry experience, and the people involved can change over time. We prefer not to list individual names publicly — partly because the team rotates depending on availability, and partly to respect their privacy. What stays consistent is the care and standard of review behind every report.
Is my contract kept confidential?
Yes. Your document is used solely to produce your report. We do not share it with anyone outside the team working on your review. Any professional assigned to look over your submission is held to strict confidentiality and non-disclosure by their profession's code of conduct and ethics requirements.
What does the £99 include?
One complete review of one contract: the full risk report, flagged terms with plain-English explanations, identified gaps, and an answer to your optional focus question. There are no hidden extras or upsells.
Is this legal advice?
No. ContractHelp provides an informational risk analysis, not legal advice or litigation support, and is not a substitute for retained legal counsel. For advice on your specific situation, consult a qualified lawyer. Many customers use our report to decide whether they need one — and to have a far better-informed conversation if they do.
I am not in the UK. Can I use ContractHelp?
Not at the moment. ContractHelp is available exclusively to businesses located in the United Kingdom.
I have a different question, can I contact the team?
Yes, of course. Unless this is related to a refund request (see the rules and contact process on the Terms & Conditions page), you can reach us here.
The contract is sitting in your inbox. Don't sign it blind.
For £99, know exactly what you're agreeing to — before it becomes a problem you can't undo.
